The NAFA 2022 event will be held in Romania, in the tiny village of Csehétfalva / Cehețel in Harghita County in Transylvania 7-11 September.
Csehétfalva / Cehețel, where the festival will be hosted, is a special place. It is a tiny peasant village established in the 15th century in the heart of Transylvania, at the foothills of the Eastern Carpathian mountain range. It is located in the Szeklerland region, which is a fairly large Hungarian enclave in the middle of Romania. The village is therefore entirely Hungarian, both culturally and linguistically.
Village life tends to be slow, calm and free of the business of cities. It is a place for enjoying a slow-paced week. Next to the peasant homesteads and the local hostel, there is a carpentry workshop and a textile weaving atelier where visitors might be able to pay a visit.
You can read more about the event on the festival website.
The deadline for film submissions for NAFA 2022 is 22 April 2022.
You may submit your film through the entry form.
