DESCRIPTION:RAI Film Webinar\n– A VIRTUAL SEMINAR BY THE ROYAL ANTHROPOLOGICAL INSTITUTE – \nMultimodal inventions \nin conversation with\nDr Isaac Marrero-Guillamón (Goldsmiths\, University of London) and Dr E. Gabriel Dattatreyan (Goldsmiths\, University of London) \nThis talk discusses our experiences and experiments in multimodal anthropology – a practice we conceptualise in relation to a politics of invention. We will elaborate on some of the key arguments we have made in our writing together (Dattatreyan & Marrero-Guillamón\, 2019) and present examples from more recent work. As pedagogues and practitioners\, we are interested in unpacking the modes of encounter and learning generated by different multimodal strategies.
